Tickets

Although the Festival takes place in Palace Cinemas multiplex and offers top-quality films of national cinema productions, the ticket price for one screening remains festival-like – only 79,- CZE (with single exception of tickets for screenings starting at 19:45, which cost 99,- CZE and include the entry to the night multimedia show in the multiplex foyer). Ticket offices open on February 4, 2010.

Festival Pass

To fans interested more in the festival program we offer FESTIVAL PASS for 650,- CZE, which brings several advantages:

It includes 10 tickets to any screening (not sold out)
For student card holders it includes 2 extra tickets for any screening
Free entry to every night festival parties and multimedia shows (starting at 22:15 in multiplex foyer)
The chance to take part in spectators’ competition

FESTIVAL PASSes are available from January 15, 2010 in Palace Cinemas ticket offices, Velký Špalíček, or on www.palacecinemas.cz. Their number is limited to 500 pieces.

Audience Competition

FESTIVAL PASS holders may compete for valuable prizes on www.csfd.cz under the condition they register on www.csfd.cz (a popular Czech film site, for which is, however, Czech language knowledge necessary) and review at least 15 films from the main festival section (films nominated for an Oscar). Those, whose choice of reviewed films will be most similar to the final ranking of the films in the competition, will be awarded a prize. You can find more information on www.csfd.cz.

Free Screenings

Every day we will offer TWO screenings free of charge. These screenings start every festival day at 12:30. To attend them, you must pick up a FREE ticket at the entrance into a particular hall in Palace Cinemas Velký Špalíček.

Accommodation

The city of Brno offers a wide choice of various types of accommodation which you can use when visiting the Festival. To find good-quality accommodation we recommend to use the services of TIC (Tourist Information Centre), which you can reach on http://www.ticbrno.cz/cz/sluzby-turistum, cheaper types of accommodation (from up to 165,- CZE per night) are offered by facilities on the following list:
